Default Best Perma-Pre Character

Thinking of making a perma pre character, which one is your favorite and why?

my favo is the ranger, rangers have good armor for farming charr, with a 5euro bonus pack you can get a Max dmg bow in pre searing (slap on a +15-18% vs charr) and you are ready to go farming one-shot one-kill ^^
I personaly think being a caster there is a bit harder, with all the casters you'll need second prof to be Monk, warriors have it easy with alot of armor and hp (most valuable weapons in pre are high dmg swords and +armor vs charr shields)

If you are looking for efficiency, then I think indeed ranger with the bonus pack bow is the best option. (I didn't try it, so I don't know how much fun it is though)
I tried a W in pre, and after getting her to lvl 17 (this was before the daily quest, so it took a while), I actually deleted her. I didn't find it much fun at all.
Eventually I made a monk (Mo/E) to get LDOA, and I found it both efficient and fun. (I stayed lvl 19 for a long time, to make use of the fire imp)

I personally like going War/Ranger. That gives you the best armor + the option of using the max bow from /bonus.

E/Me is by far the most efficient, especially later on.

I use ranger in pre, and am perma level 20. I also used the /bonus max bow.

Pet is always handy in pre also, so consider R as secondary if you feel Primary Ranger is not for you.

Currently as Perma Pres I have a lvl19 N/Me, level 18 Me/N, lvl 17 W/R, lvl 18 R/W, lvl 19 Mo/E and level 19 E/Mo out of all that the one I enjoyed playing the most in pre was the Mesmer due to the skills that are available, Ether feast is one of the best self heals in Pre IMO and they have good counters to both physical foes and spell based foes through the use of Empathy and Backfire.

The Profession I least liked was the Warrior.

my choices are usually necros (I like making minons)...my LDoA is a monk with ranger skills (and a pet)....my necros usually either have kept the mesmer skills or the ranger--for the pet.
I found warrior the most boring --but then again I am not a melee person, eles have a good deal of damage they can do (my first character was an ele--still have her too) even in pre.

I find ranger very efficient there: good armor, bow so you can stay far, pet.
I did LdoA on E/N and it was bit boring, but not too bad on efficiency.

Mine was an e/mo, seemed really good to me, didn't have any issues at all, barely ever died, even with the new stuff. Just whack on aura of resto, then if you are against enemies with ench stripping just whack a healing breeze on top. Finish by spamming the life out of flare :P
